to Toby and Richard’s website, designed to support
their olympic sailing campaign,
Toby and Richard live in the same town, Brightlingsea and
belong to the same sailing clubs, Colne Yacht Club and Brightlingsea
Sailing Club. They met through sailing and first started
sailing seriously together in early 2001.
Toby and Richard have been sailing 49ers for two season
and upgraded their boat to a new Mackay from New Zealand
in early September 2002. They competed in national ranking
events in the UK in 2002, moving up the ranking table.
